a “Permit to Burn on a No-Burn Day” is subject to a fee.

3040 – Agricultural/Open Burn Fees, the current fee schedule is the

Prescription burn fees apply to anyone who is required
to submit a Smoke Management Plan pursuant to Title 17, Subchapter 2, Smoke
Management Guidelines for Agricultural and Prescription Burning of the
California Code of Regulations. Per
3160 – Prescribed Burning Fee, the current fee rate is:
Broadcast and Pile Burning
The assessed fee equals the total acreage burned over
the previous year, minus 40 acres per property owner, and multiplied by the
applicable fee rate.
