Six common, widespread air pollutants endanger our health. Because of this, they are regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. We have met them before in this exhibit: carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, sulfur dioxide, lead, and particulate matter. These pollutants damage different parts of our bodies.
