The San Joaquin Valleywide Air Pollution Study Agency Governing Board meetings are typically held on the third Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m., though they may be rescheduled occasionally due to conflicts with other scheduled meetings. Meetings are usually held immediately prior to the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District Governing Board meeting. Study Agency meetings are held only when there are actions to process; therefore the decision to hold a meeting is made on a month-by-month basis.
Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held in the Central Region, San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District Governing Board Room located at 1990 E. Gettysburg Avenue, Fresno.
To encourage public participation, the Study Agency and District Governing Board Meetings are held using the District’s video teleconferencing (VTC) system and can also be attended in the Northern Region Office (4800 Enterprise Way, Modesto) or the Southern Region Office (34946 Flyover Court, Bakersfield.)
PLEASE NOTE: Given the international COVID-19 pandemic, and consistent with the California Department of Public Health’s recommendations and Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-25-20, the District’s Study Agency meetings will be held via video teleconference and webcast with NO PHYSICAL LOCATION FOR PUBLIC ATTENDANCE. Public participation details for individual meetings can be found on the agendas for the specific meetings below. Should you have questions on participation, please contact the Clerk of the Boards at (559) 230-6000.
