Did You Know...
A gasoline-powered leaf blower emits as much pollution in 1 hour as a new car driven 350 miles. It also blows up a lot of particulate matter into the air. Trim air pollution with electric-powered equipment and consider using a rake that doesn’t blow particles into the air you’re breathing.
heck to see that these tips to save energy are followed at school and at home:

6. Insulate a water heater.
7. Weatherproof and insulate home, school rooms and offices.
8. Use an EPA-approved wood burning stove or fireplace insert.
9. Burn only seasoned (dark-colored, with cracked ends) and dry wood in fireplaces and woodstoves, for efficient, hot fires and avoid burning wood whenever possible.

Make sure no one ever burns green wood, plastics, color newsprint or magazines, milk cartons, tires, rubber products, chemically treated products or any other form of garbage. They produce deadly toxic smoke and odors.

10. Help weed out gas-powered lawn equipment and tools.
