Plug Into Cleaner Electric Energy Sources

Most of us probably don't connect the electricity we use with dirty, unhealthy air. However, the different energy sources used to generate our electric power don't have the same air pollution consequences. Right now, most electricity comes from fossil or nuclear fuels that seriously harm our health and our environment. Today, fossil fuel-burning power plants are a major source of air pollution and the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States. There are cleaner ways of producing the power we need that harness wind, sunlight, plant matter, or heat from the Earth's core to produce electricity without pollution by-products. And these energy sources don't run out. They are clean and renewable.
