Program Overview
The Clean Alternative to Fireworks Pilot Incentive Program provides incentives to fund -firework alternatives, such as drone or laser shows, in lieu of a portion or all of large-scale fireworks displays celebrating the 4th of July or New Year’s Eve, or other celebratory public gatherings. Other alternatives may be approved on a case-by-case basis. Applicants may apply for one event during the calendar year.
Program Process
- Public Entities – include, but are not limited to, State, county, city, special districts, school districts, and federal agencies.
- Private Entities – include, but are not limited to, private organizations and non-profits.
For this solicitation, the maximum funding available for the pilot program is $250,000. This funding will be allocated per county based on population.
