The San Joaquin Valley communities of South Central Fresno, the City of Shafter, Stockton, and most recently Arvin/Lamont have been selected as communities of focus under Assembly Bill 617. Community participation and engagement has been and will continue to be critical to the development and implementation of successful Community Emissions Reduction Programs and Community Air Monitoring Plans, and the District is looking for a facilitator(s) who will work to foster active community partnerships toward this end.
