Policy and Procedures for Poor Outdoor Air Quality Days

Thank you for using these recommended alternatives to outdoor activities on days when the air quality is poor in the San Joaquin Valley. These documents were created by a group of health organizations, school officials and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District.

Our goal is to assist school districts that are using the outdoor air-quality flag program in maintaining healthy student bodies. We hope that you find these materials helpful to your students’ educational success.

We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have as you implement these tools in your schools and classrooms, and look forward to incorporating them in future editions. To send us your comments, please print the feedback form and fax to either of the numbers at the bottom of the form.

Thank you,

The A.I.R. group
